Home workout routines without equipment

Health is a blessing. Workout plays an important role in maintaining a healthy routine. Workout helps in regulating physical health. And it is said “A sound body has a sound mind”. Therefore, workout helps to maintain a healthy body. Workout is a refreshing activity. Moreover, it can be done at home. Home workout routine is effective to keep body fit. There are numerous exercises that you can perform at home. Such exercises do not even require equipment. Below are some of the exercises discussed:

PLANK

Position: Body position should be strong from forearm to toe.

Muscle activity: Basically, it maintains shoulders, back and glutes

Benefit: It gives stability to body. It also improves body posture.

PUSH-UPS

Position: Lie down in plank position. Push chest close to floor by bending elbows. Then pull body back in plank position.

Muscle activity: It strengthens chest, shoulders and triceps.

Benefit: It gives core stability. It also provides strength to upper body.

LUNGES

Position: Firstly, stand straight. Take one step forward. Bend both your knees at 90.

Muscle activity: It maintains quadricepts, calves and glutes.

Benefit: It gives balance to body. And also provide strength to legs.

SQUATS

Position: Stand in feet shoulder -wirdth apart position. Bring hips in position as if sitting on chair. Knees should be at 90 degree angle.

Muscle activity: It helps to maintain hamstring, quads and core.

Benefit: It gives strength to lower body. It also helps in burning calories.

JUMPING JACKS

Position: Stand straight. Jump with legs apart. Meanwhile move hands till head. Repeat this act continuously.

Muscle activity: Full body mainly shoulder and calves.

Benefit: It helps to improve coordination. Burns calories and regulate blood flow.

AARM CIRCLES

Position: Spread arms sideways. Now move arms in big circular motion forward and backward.

Muscle activity: it regulates arms, shoulders and upper body.

Benefit: It provides flexibility to arm and shoulders. Also warms up upper body.
